Try something new and gain a different perspective.
Together, we will walk side by side into the wilderness. Step by step, we will unearth each mysterious part of what contributes to your uncomfortable experiences daily.
The environment will be warm and safe, with some humor for comic relief. Your nervous system will relax into a calming space, and you will know it is okay to share your vulnerabilities.
We think you’ll be surprised how you can create a balance of making light of the hard stuff while acknowledging the immense weight it puts on you. And you will find a way to be more in control of your state of mind long term.
While working with us, you will gain new insights, learn practical tools, change your perspectives, and have a few laughs.
Change is possible.
While working with us, you’ll notice your anxiety go from 100 to 10.
Your confidence in yourself will grow, and you’ll begin to wonder why you didn’t seek out therapy sooner!
In the modern world, it is normal to have a lot of things going on that can make life a drag.
Without help, bewilderment, stagnancy, and misery will continue to be your norm. Alternatively, you can choose to work toward bright and shiny hope.
About Me
You are not alone.
I’ve walked a day in your shoes and had my own experiences with homophobia, anxiety, attention problems, and relationship conflict.
My mission is to help you gain the tools, skills, and perspectives to live an authentic life that will make you proud.
I’ve gotten overwhelmed, tired, and stuck throughout the years. What made the difference was learning techniques and new ways of looking at things that helped me communicate better, have less anxiety, focus more, and accept myself. I want to get you there, too.
I realized if I did nothing to change things, I would continue to struggle, suffer, and ultimately miss out on living a fully authentic life. I’m now living a hopeful and authentic life most of the time.
Seeking training to help others became my goal.
My mission led me to get my Master’s degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon.
Additionally, I have certificates in Ecopsychology and Intercultural Communication.
I also bring to the table my lived experience as a human, just like you.
Life is complete outside of therapy.
I live in Raleigh, North Carolina with my partner and pups Coco & Mushu. In my free time, I love to read, go to trivia, have game nights with friends, go on walks outside, and watch reality tv.
I’m passionate about mental well-being and want to help you increase yours!
